I was first exposed to video games as a kid through old CD rom games on a Windows XP computer that didn't have internet access. I also had an old plug-n-play TV game that featured pac-man and dig dug. It wasn't until I received a DS Lite as a birthday gift with Mario Kart & Nintendogs that I really got into playing video games.

My first home console was a Wii. I saw a demo for a game called Super Mario Galaxy in a GameStop one day and new that that was all I wanted for Christmas that year. I played the hell out of that Wii, and as I grew up received a Wii U & an Xbox 360 that I shared with my brother. The Xbox introduced me to Minecraft Xbox 360 edition which then became another one of my favorite games ever. I was so passionate about Minecraft that I saved up all the money I could to buy a cheap laptop to play on servers on the Java edition.

Because I wanted to play Minecraft on a computer that wouldn't lag so bad, it pushed me into learning about how computers work, how to assemble them, different operating systems, budgeting and then building my first gaming PC at 16. From there, I got heavily into PC Gaming, eSports, Steam, Counter Strike, Twitch Streaming & the world of content creation. Since building my first gaming PC at 16, I've built over a dozen others for my siblings and friends.

I have met so many wonderful people online through Minecraft and gaming. Like many others, if it weren't for Minecraft, and all of the games I loved as a kid, I may never have considered computer science or programming as a profession later in life.
